For an outdoor venue, amazing sound! Easy in and out of the grounds. Can see from many locations on the grass. Needs permanent loos in a building not hired plastic sweatboxes. Good for fun acts, wouldn't want a special band to perform here unless low tickets sales to prevent overcrowding.
Love it!! Such an amazing concert venue!! Make sure to check the weather before you go though as they only have a limited amount of ponchos available ($5 from the bar area) apart from that the venue is wonderful.

Great place for a festival and gigs, really well set up and organised
Easy in and easy to get out, but for a first timer to this venue… some suggestions to others attending, get to venue early, take a blanket, find a viewing spot and sit and wait. Unfortunately I didn’t know or do this and arrived an hour before main act, to basically 8000 people already in place.
Otherwise, good spot for a music venue…
Watching Bloc Party play live at River Stage was incredible. River Stage is built into the hill like a natural amphitheatre and the sound was incredible. You could see the stage from all angles. It was such an amazing place to watch live music. Loved it!!
Great venue. Love that you get a great view no matter where you stand. The standard of the bar has dropped significantly though. No wine and limited beer options. Only sweet drinks and red bull available which is not great
Been here a few times. Recently was Evanescence. Was great but would've been awesome if they had screens on each side of stage given so many people were view blocked by the light effects stage right in middle of the seating area.
I went and saw Melanie Martinez at the Brisbane Riverstage. It was very good besides the fact of a giant gazebo in the middle so I couldn't see her when she went to the other side of the stage. She is amazing!!!!
Best place for a concert! Being on a hill, you have a view of the whole stage no matter where you sit or stand. Every event I have been to here always have great security, amenities, food options, etc!
Depending what way you come in, it's a great walk through the parklands. If parking close by I recommend express parking 53 Albert St. Register your licence plate and sign up before you park for quick in and out parking!
